I do a tabata class at my local gym and I totally love it.We do the 20 min routine then a half hour toning/circuits session. It's full on and we're all pretty fit but usually end the routine with us all on our backs!
Just be a wee bit careful about your form when you are doing stuff quickly. Form is more important than reps if you don't want to knacker your knees.
There's an app that you can download on your phone
Haven't tried it but it sounds similar to Metafit and FT fit? I know "The Gym Group" do Tabata classes all over the UK.
Tried this on holiday, and I loved it. Does anyone do it? It's basically the exercise when you do 20 second bursts and 10 seconds rest - for 8 cycles.It really suited me as I get so bored, and I have a better bod after only a week. Not sure where to continue in the uk as normal gyms don't see, to have these classes....
