It's still freezing but I've managed a bike ride before going to MIL's for dinner. <proud>

Hi, I have signed up for this. Seems like less of a good idea now that it starts tomorrow and is still utterly freezing outside!

Great! I'm ill at the moment so it suddenly seems a bit more daunting but I'm sure once I'm better it'll be fine. It just sounded like a really good idea. It's easier when you know lots of other people are doing the same thing. What's your current exercise routine?

Thanks for posting about this - I've just signed up! Just the impetus I need.

Is anyone doing the 5x50 challenge ?

If you don't know, it's running, walking, jogging or cycling 5km every day for 50 days starting from Easter Sunday. You can substitute 30 mins of exercise instead of 5k if you prefer. I found out about it through the Nhs C25k site so I thought as I'm doing that anyway I'll just add in some other things on my non-running days - it's not that hard to fit a 5k walk in as you can split it across the day if necessary. I'm going to try and cycle on at least some of the other days or do my zumba DVD if I can't get out. It fits well for me because the last day of it is the day I'm doing the race for life.
