Good luck with the exercise Forkoff.

The only thing I seem to be able to keep to is staying clear of carbs at dinner time. Ah well, it's slowly helping.

crazypaving Sun 17-Feb-13 12:12:27

oh dear I'm struggling a bit. really tired and ds1 being quite challenging. diet suffering as a result. really doing my best to log everything and not cheat the ww system but it's a bit depressing. have a horrible feeling I'm going to get stuck at 11st sad

TheTiger Sun 17-Feb-13 16:53:43

I'm sneaking back in!

I lost all motivation after hitting my first target of 9 stone 6. I haven't weighed for a few weeks, and I'm fairly sure a couple of pounds have sneaked back on. Will weigh in tomorrow.

I bought a lovely dress for SIL's wedding in 3 weeks. It's a size 10 and fits/fastens but would look nicer if I was a few pounds lighter. So I'm being strict for the next few weeks!

projectbabyweight Sun 17-Feb-13 17:06:15

I think that's the key Tiger having an event in mind to aim for. Mind you, I wouldn't take advice from me, I haven't lost a pound for about 3 weeks sad

DyeInTheEar Sun 17-Feb-13 22:56:12

Forkoff what Yoga DVD do you have?

RichManPoorManBeggarmanThief Mon 18-Feb-13 04:24:07

Uggh- I'm back. Great hols but zero restraint, especially on the beer. Sigh. Am back on the wagon. weighed this morning- 10st 5lbs, but feeling really bloated so hoping some of that is just water retention from the flight. Back on the wagon today. Need a good week to get me back on form.

Iheartpasties Mon 18-Feb-13 04:42:37

I weighed in this morning, I lost 300g!! Yikes. Bad week. Pretty relieved to see weight went down, but not by much!!!??

crazypaving Mon 18-Feb-13 08:33:57

interim midweek weigh for me and I've gained a lb angry I guess after my epic 4lb loss last week something like that was going to happen. my body's probably desperately clinging to fat and chucking what little muscle I have in the bin. bastard body. angry

Iheartpasties Mon 18-Feb-13 11:02:15

crazypaving!! that made me chuckle!! sometimes I do sneaky (stupid) mid week weigh in's and if I am doing well with the weight loss I seem to relax and allow myself some treats and low and behold by Monday I have bearly lost anything at all. I do find it very helpful to have to post my weight here though, otherwise I would have given up weeks ago and said Eff it all!!?

crazypaving Mon 18-Feb-13 11:39:39

likewise pasties. keep the faith eh!

utopian99 Mon 18-Feb-13 15:13:55

Weighed in sneakily after only an apple for breakfast and having been to pramactive. 10st 9.4! Whoop. Although can't help feel this is cheating, weighing right after exercise..

TheTiger Mon 18-Feb-13 16:38:08

Weighed in and miraculously I am still 9 stone 6!! Woohoo.

I've done we'll today, even went to costa coffee and only had a diet Pepsi - it was hard resisting cake/ toasted tea cake though!

YellowWellies Mon 18-Feb-13 22:08:03

11 stone 10 lb..... dairy free and 5 miles a day walking and BF but eating what I like (bar dairy and soy which I can't eat due to LO reflux) has me losing 2 lb a week consistently now. When my cousins wife had to cut out soy and dairy she lost 1.5 stone in a month - my sister lost rapidly too - however they have taught me all the naughty foods I can still eat (hello kettle chips and pork pies I'm talking to you!). I'm happy with losing 2 lb a week.. even if it means another 10 weeks.... pah am off dairy til November anyhoo!

Well done all other losers with slightly less wibbly tums!

Iheartpasties Tue 19-Feb-13 10:26:25

well two people have tolod me today that they can see I have lost weight. It's hard isn't it? I felt a bit defensive and sort of offended the first time (if I am honest) but I smiled and nodded and said 'yes!', but then walked away and flet a bit gutted. Then my DH made a comment too at dinner time. It's a compliment I suppose but it feels gutting to know that everyone saw how big I was before. I liked to pretend that no one had noticed me ballooning up.

MadMonkeys Tue 19-Feb-13 11:44:25

hi everyone. The new scales arrived yesterday and I love them already as they said I'm 69.6kg this morning... Whereas the old ones said 74kg last week! But I don't know if I've actually lost any weight, wil have to wait til next Tues to find out as Tues will be weigh day for me now. Ive cut out the tonnes of cake I was eating and I'm starving all the time. Feeling a bit less lardy though!

crazypaving Tue 19-Feb-13 12:01:43

madmonkeys I'm always starving too. on top of sleep deprivation, screaming baby and defiant toddler I'm amazed I'm not in the nuthouse.

utopian99 Tue 19-Feb-13 12:43:28

Another who's always starving here, plus my taste has changed in favour of a lot more sugar whereas before and while i was pg it was more savoury.

No one's told me they've noticed I've lost weight.. sad

MadMonkeys Tue 19-Feb-13 14:18:14

Me too Utopian, I was always a savoury person, now I could happily stuff myself with chocs and fudge. And Baileys, I love Baileys! I've got a defiant constipated toddler, Crazypaving - got to take her to the docs tomorrow as eczema has flared up really badly on her face. I'm dreading it, last time she had a full blown tantrum in the waiting room, lay on the floor kicking her legs and screaming. A very kind man carried dd2 into the docs room so I could drag dd1 in. Otherwise we'd prob still be there now 3 months later. Hope we don't have a repeat performance tomorrow... So Save me a place in the nuthouse, Crazy, I'll be along midmorning tomorrow if not before!

PennieLane Tue 19-Feb-13 21:30:05

Well done everyone and welcome newbies!

I'm now 9'8lbs! So lost 10lbs since we started. Really chuffed. It seems we're all doing so well. Unfortunately mine is down to DH having severe D&V and me not being able to cook/eat properly, but hopefully next week it will be for much healthier reasons!

Sophiathecheesefairy Tue 19-Feb-13 22:03:17

11stone 10bs at weigh in. Am copying you yw

Not doing too bad this week. Am happy with 2 lbs a week off at the mo as I know it will stay off. Though of to NI on Sun which is usually fatal. Might take my running kit. hmm

YellowWellies Wed 20-Feb-13 08:29:00

Sophia I'm itching to dust off my running kit too - though its been so long I think I'll need to start back on the couch to 5k programme first - or I'll do myself an injury! Just need to find some time without DS attached to my boob....

Sophiathecheesefairy Wed 20-Feb-13 16:15:24

I am mostly worried about my pelvic floor and running! Or trap door as detective so appropriately called.

Squeezed into a pair of size 12 pre preg jeans, mom so they are fat face so a little generous but chuffed as they are really comfy. Treated myself to a air f moccasins from fat face to go with and they are so comfy. Feel positively spring like!

NanoNinja Wed 20-Feb-13 17:47:08

Wow, some great losses! Well done everyone! Weighed in this morning at 57 kg. which is 1.5 kg down from start weight and 3 kg away from where I want to be. But, have been here before only to see weight go up by 1.5 kg the next week. Am setting no store by numbers!

All that said, am feeling much better now that I have swapped weight watchers plan and am also back to walking every day.

Bonne chance for the rest of the week!

daisychain76 Wed 20-Feb-13 22:48:23

Hi all, posted once on last thread. Have been doing SW since start of Dec butt only lost 6 and a half pounds (was 7 then put half back on). Need to get serious as being a bridesmaid in 2 months and can‘t zip the dress up! Also youngest dc is 5 months on Sunday so getting past the stage l can blame it on just having had a baby. Going to really try for a stone off by Easter. It is inspiring to read the pounds dropping off on this thread.

crazypaving Thu 21-Feb-13 07:52:40

glad things are improving nano!

I've stayed at 11st 1lb which I figure is fine as my 4lb loss last week was possibly water too, so 6lb total over 3 weeks is perfectly respectable.

struggling to avoid chocolate. seriously, could just live on the stuff. and dying to break the 11st barrier and go down to 10st 13, that'll be a big psychological victory.
