dd is 15months and I would love to take her out on my bike and try to get fitter. I have looked at rear and front seats and like the look of the Weeride Kangaroo but not sure if better/safer than a rear one, does anyone have one or any other seat they would recommend?

I had a Weeride Kangaroo for dd and she absolutely loved it. It felt much safer to me having her in front with my arms around her. I think it is supposed to go to age 4, but she was out of it by 3 (and she's average hieght) - not because she wouldn't fit in the seat but because her helmet was touching my chin. I guess thats a downside to the front seats - but I would definitely recommend the Weeride.

Thanks snowballed, was it easy to ride? Think I may get one this week!

Yes very easy and the best thing is you can talk to them all the time rather than try to turn round and hear what they said. Even if they are only talking about all the dog poo they spot Wink

Another vote here - easy to fit, easy to use, fun for child. I found the wide-knee position a little awkward to start with but now it's no bother. DS has even fallen asleep on his while being bumped along a forest track!

Ditto everything snowballed said.

Also DS sometimes got his arms out of the straps but this was ok as spotted straight away, wouldn't have fine if one the back. DS lasted in his til about 3.4 but he is big for his age.
