Any good exercises for a flabby tummy?

I've just started an exercise routine daily which involves treadmill/exercise bike/weights bench, but don't feel that any of these are really targetting my wobbly belly! I'm not great with sit-ups as they make me feel a bit dizzy so wondering if anyone can suggest any good alternatives? Thanks.

The plank is a good one. Lie on your front, lift weight onto elbows and toes, so body and legs are in a straight line (no bum stuck in air, or stomach sagging towards floor). Hold for 30 seconds if you can to begin with. Work up to a minute or even more.

Another one, rather than situps, start in a seated position, with hands by ears (on the floor, and lean back as far as you can without back touching the floor. Hold for 5 seconds. Repeat until stomach muscles tire.

Also, have you tried curls, rather than situps? Lie on your back, legs bent, hands by ears, and roll up the top half of your body, as if rolling up a carpet. ou won't need to lift your shoulders very high.

And make sure you keep breathing with all these exercises. If you find yourself holding your breath, it's a sure fire way to get dizzy.

Butterbur thanks so much for that. I suffer with vertigo and bringing my head up quickly always brings it on, so the curls are probably a no-no but the others look fab. Will start today!
