I see Mario Draghi has asked rEU countries to pony up for Brexit

www.reuters.com/article/us-global-economy-weekahead-idUSKCN0ZX06G

European Central Bank President Mario Draghi is likely to plead for governments to do more to boost the euro zone's economy in the coming week as the fallout of Britain's vote to leave the EU and weaker global growth threaten the bloc's fragile recovery.

(contd) ...

Of course the upshot of Brexit is the rEU will be asking more from the richer countries, and giving less to the poorer.

As we weren't in the EZ, and it wasn't going very well anyway, it is our fault why? Surely the EU had a contingency plan for if we left, seeing that it is always so well prepared?

I agree we certainly aren't in the EZ. Nothing is EZ Grin.

Not sure how the word "fault" crept into the conversation ? I just commented it was a result of Brexit. "Fault" suggests an element of wrongdoing which I wasn't implying.

I posted to highlight that if the richer countries have to pay more and the poorer countries get less, then - irrespective of wrongs or rights - Brexit will be blamed.
