Does anyone know if her Wednesday column appeared in the Mail today?

UnderTheGreenwoodTree Wed 06-Jul-16 20:53:46

I don't believe so.

From the Spectator: "Sarah Vine declared in her Daily Mail column that she — along with her husband — had been handed the responsibility of leading the country on behalf of the Brexit voters"

Talk about a sense of over-inflated self-importance. She's a columnist ffs.

Thank you. I read Dacre was wild at her for name checking him ...wondered if she'd be dropped. As my old dad used to say, problems come from being in a mutual appreciation society. Let's see what tomorrow's voting brings.

She really is Lady Macbeth.

Normandy144 Wed 06-Jul-16 21:22:00

Who does she think she is? Eva fucking Peron?

BlunderWomansCat Wed 06-Jul-16 21:24:34

Christ, what an odious pair they make.

nauticant Wed 06-Jul-16 21:30:29

I understand that they weren't able to print it. Every time her words were applied to the paper they just burned through it, they were simply too acidic. They could have used archival paper but it would have been far too expensive.

she's evidently having some 'downtime'

nauticant Wed 06-Jul-16 21:36:00

Ahh, so she's having some downtime. Good idea, she'll be running low on potions now.

FlushingNotBlushing Wed 06-Jul-16 21:37:54

What does 'focus ing on her own wellbeing' mean in journobabble?grin

Haggisfish Wed 06-Jul-16 21:40:49

Hahaha-she's had some sort of hissy fit and has no friends left to talk to. Only pob...

BlunderWomansCat Wed 06-Jul-16 21:45:12

Only Pob grin

I think it means she's been asked to stand down Flushing, i.e. dropped.

FlushingNotBlushing Wed 06-Jul-16 23:01:23

I think I know what she's been writing instead. Sky are reporting that Gove's team have been sending texts in an effort to oust AL. Apparently when confronted, Gove 'giggled'.

NewMinouMinou Wed 06-Jul-16 23:33:05

Giggled?!
This is people's fucking LIVES here!
Their jobs, their homes, their children.
What the fuck is wrong with these people?

UnderTheGreenwoodTree Wed 06-Jul-16 23:38:59

'Anyone but Gove' seems to be the resounding cry - from Mumsnet to Ken Clarke - so I don't fancy their chances.

What a pair of wankbadgers.

Oh, and I think it's all a game to them. They are that far removed from normal life.

SnowBells Thu 07-Jul-16 00:55:30

All just a game to them.

mathanxiety Thu 07-Jul-16 01:55:37

'focusing on her own wellbeing'

She is sitting on a naughty step somewhere, having a little think, brushing up her CV.

mathanxiety Thu 07-Jul-16 01:56:25

Maybe looking up the meaning of the word 'hubris' while she has a little time on her hands...

Lovewhereilive Thu 07-Jul-16 09:33:03

Vile pair

Millyonthefloss2 Thu 07-Jul-16 10:42:41

She does need to get another job asap. What are they thinking? How can MG be taken seriously when his wife writes unfunny articles about their marital life in a tabloid paper.
