news link here [[http://news.sky.com/story/1721982/watch-ken-clarke-ridicules-tory-candidates]] with handy transcript below. You'd think an old hand like Clarke would have spotted that.

Meanwhile, Buzzfeed has tried to explain what is happening to the Americans. This made me laugh a lot.

Hiya
I couldn't view the sky one but found it here. Bloody hilarious! Thanks for that, it's made my day. Always had a soft spot for old Ken.

The buzzfeed one is brilliant too.

Seems like he's talking a lot of sense, nothing for him to be ashamed of Smile

That's fantastic Grin I don't think he said a single word there I disagreed with.

Is there an uncut version?

Don't these two know that nothing is off the record with news crews?

Ooh, no, just checked back and he said he'd vote for Crabbe in the first round, so I definitely do disagree with him on that.

The KC excerpt feels quite staged to be accidental methinks. Funny though. I like the Buzzfeed attempt to explain it all, it really is beyond satire now.

Aging, although he did also say he didn't know any of his views, so it sounds rather like a vote to keep things open and interesting rather than because he agrees with him on. Anything.

I agree with most his comments but it's still raw enough that i still feel gross about I'm Alright jack Tories laughing at how amusing this whole situation is.

It certainly wasn't intended as a secret conversation as the people around him could hear it.

I love the Buzzfeed article. It made me really laugh...and then I remembered it is all actually true and I thought about crying instead.

I think it's great hearing the views of politicians once they're no longer bothered about their personal careers. That's when the truth comes out.

It was excellent - two tory veterans saying what they really think "well you and I served under Thatcher".

The Buzzfeed is excellent too:

It’s like a terrible cross between Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones, except it is real and it is happening to us.

Yup. I don't have the right emoticon to express myself...
