Brexit

Europe's Leading Statesman Gives 'Em Hell

Farage addresses the European Parliament after historic Brexit vote.

He says "most of you have never had a real job in your lives" and they all nod in agreement. Farage says "the little people defied the multinationals" and the multinationals sadly agree.

As Farage speaks to the world, puppets panic, stooges are stunned, elitists take a lie down, globalists are gobsmacked and the people party.

At the end of Farage's speech, the Establishment broadcast their pre-recorded booing tape in order to drown out the roar of defiance of the British people.

After Farage, Marine Le Pen speaks and says that the Brexit vote is the biggest event in Europe since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Farage and Le Pen, the Fool and the Facist. If that is your team, you're on the wrong one.

Hello claig - I wondered when you'd pop up.

Nigel was smug and nasty but then again what else did anyone expect.

"you're in denial your currency is failing" Ha! So is ours thanks to you!

What do you think of the pound be worth what it was 31 years ago, Claig? Is that OK?
Why would boos be pre-recorded? They are hardly going to be happy!

The pound will recover, I seem to remember that the dollar was weak for ages back in 04/05

' Is that OK?'

It is good news for exporters, good news for tourism, it helps business. Interest rates are about to go to 0%, soon we will have a business recovery as we export to the world.

'Why would boos be pre-recorded?'

They need the boos to be very loud because as Farage predicted "the UK will not be the last country to leave the EU" and they hope that the loud booing will fool the European people and delay the inevitable collapse.

But they would have booed loudly anyway. I remember hearing the boos in Hollyrood and it was pretty loud and that's not even very big!

The pound might rise slightly but it's not going to recover 31 years worth anytime soon.

Interests may go to 0% but they may shoot up. No one can tell yet.
Please God, let them fall or I'll never buy a house. Although, there won't be any house builders left from what I can see.

they hope that the loud booing will fool the European people and delay the inevitable collapse. That is soooo offensive to Europeans! They don't have any brain cells then, is basically what you're saying.

Mmm. Don't know how good Farage is at his job. He does put forth an air as if he is on top of everything and knows what he is talking about.

However, on A. Neil, he proposed to do things trading under WTO rules which Neil had to come back and say they are not allowed under WTO rules. He must have been saying stuff like that before and the research team had checked them out.

So, I wouldn't have much trust in his proposals.

He obviously went just to insult.

The booing was loud because he's a rude odious twat. It was actually very restrained considering how insulting he was to them all.
Schulz's put down was good though: he told them not to boo because they were all acting like UKIP normally do Smile

The thing to remember is the UK holds the economic power, the trade deficit with the EU is gigantic & many key EU industries e.g. German cars, Spanish/Greek tourism, French farming depend on the UK market

'They don't have any brain cells then, is basically what you're saying.'

No the exact opposite. Just as the British people had brain cells and Cameron and the team appear to have had very few with their belief that the British people could be frightened by Osborne's warnings of a "Punishment Budget", the EU political class also appear to be one sandwich short of a picnic in thinking that a pre-recorded booing tape will outwit the European people.

It is the whizzkids that are the wazzocks, not the European people.

The pound hasn't been steadily climbing over 31 years you knowHmm
Currencies fluctuate constantly, there's no such thing as 31 yeareyeares of growth, stop spouting nonsenseAngry

A rise in interest rates would be a good thing for house price as they are dangerously unsustainable

Negative interest rates would be a bit of a kicker
Can you imagine the run on the banksShock

I'm not sure about that, annandale. Farage livens proceedings up for them. Without Farage, it would be one big snorefest.

I also think we have far more leverage than is widely believed

So Claig is saying they will fall to 0% and you are saying you want them to rise. Haha it's laughable.

Yes, I do know it hasn't risen steadily but how long do you think it will take to get back to where we were (with all the rising and falling incorporated)? If the Economy has shrunk it will take a lot longer. So it's not nonsense.

Heres a clue: it starts with E and ends in U.....

Without a crystal ball no ones knows what currencies or markets will do

A rise in rates would precipitate a property crash and I doubt the govt would want that

But who knows what will happen, we need to escape a future of being under the thumb of a corrupt and undemocratic superstate
