I thought TTIP's been effectively blocked (by France)? In the EU, anyway.

Are you saying that (depending on the deal we make) the UK may not be able to block TTIP?

I do have concerns that leaving the EU is going to make us vulnerable to this sort of thing but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what sort of deal emerges.

TTIP was one of the reasons I voted Remain. It was clearly going to get gutted by the EU and I felt we were stronger in.

Yes, Liney. He's going to be negotiating a deal. Absolutely sure he's going to have the safety of the NHS and Workers' Rights at the very forefront of his mind. Great times.

Ironically, we now have to hope that the EU forces on us entry to the EU with all the trimmings (and not too many unpleasant extras) if we're going to be safeguarded from the likes of TTIP. What a mess.
