or anyone had their mind changed by watching any of the to debates ?

Titsywoo Thu 09-Jun-16 20:32:27

I am. So far the leave campaign is coming off much better IMO. So my mind is unchanged smile

EnthusiasmDisturbed Thu 09-Jun-16 20:41:27

Mmm I think they are not helping themselves by targeting Boris

But not changed my mind trying to watch it with a neutral mind

BeJayKayven Thu 09-Jun-16 20:43:17

I tried but too much shrieking

LineyReborn Thu 09-Jun-16 20:44:06

I am very much watching this with an open mind.

BurnTheBlackSuit Thu 09-Jun-16 20:44:39

I am. Andrea Leadson comes across really well. SHE should be the Tory leader/Prime Minister IF there is a leave vote.

LineyReborn Thu 09-Jun-16 20:50:32

Sturgeon going for the jugular on Boris and the NHS.

claig Thu 09-Jun-16 20:54:30

'I am. Andrea Leadson comes across really well.'

Yes she is very good. The Leave side have the usual rehearsed lines trying to claim that immigration has no impact on services at all and trying to silence the thought crime of telling the truth about there being only so much money to go round.

BurnTheBlackSuit Thu 09-Jun-16 20:55:07

The attacks on Boris are really irritating. It's not a personality or policy debate ffs. He is doing well not responding to them. And I don't like Boris.

claig Thu 09-Jun-16 20:57:11

Gisella Stuart is quite good as well. She dares to tell the truth and break free from the Labour politically correct straightjacket. Shame she didn't do it years ago.

LineyReborn Thu 09-Jun-16 20:57:41

Boris looks tired.

LIZS Thu 09-Jun-16 20:57:59

Playing bingo on Pressure, Immigration, Taking Back Control ... Gisela is regaining her German accent the longer time goes on and Boris is pretty quiet.

BurnTheBlackSuit Thu 09-Jun-16 20:59:37

Boris does look tired

ThroughThickAndThin01 Thu 09-Jun-16 21:01:46

The audience clapping is for leave.

Boris does look tired, but fucking heel, who wouldn't on his position?

BurnTheBlackSuit Thu 09-Jun-16 21:01:49

What's this thriving car industry they keep talking about?

ThroughThickAndThin01 Thu 09-Jun-16 21:02:57

hell blush, everyones feet are fine as far as I can see.

BonitaFangita Thu 09-Jun-16 21:04:00

Boris looks rough as arses and I think he's coming off the worst of the lot.

There's all a bit to much shouting for my liking, I still don't believe any of them and I still haven't made up my mind

Chapsy Thu 09-Jun-16 21:04:08

The women come across as shrieking and emotional. Dreadful. I've turned it off.

claig Thu 09-Jun-16 21:04:19

I fear Angela Rudd will be rewarded with a senior role after this if Remain win. Her hectoring, lecturing performance on the benefit of listening to the "experts" is just what the Remain doctor ordered and is likely to be used by the Tories to browbeat the people after the referendum.

MuddledMuse Thu 09-Jun-16 21:06:47

Yes, am watching. Still undecided and driving myself completely mad.

One question though. I'm not sure whether I heard it correctly or not, and even if I did hear correctly, whether or not it's true, but did someone say that Thatcher's rebate comes to an end at the end of this decade?

Can't help but think that Anicola Sturgeon us a hypocrite.

Titsywoo Thu 09-Jun-16 21:08:34

All the women on the remain side are coming off really badly. Especially the middle one - sorry can't remember her name.

claig Thu 09-Jun-16 21:08:46

Killer line of the entire debate by Boris. It's all over.

"Barbara Castle campaigned fervently against joining the EU"

claig Thu 09-Jun-16 21:09:24

'Especially the middle one - sorry can't remember her name.'

Angela Eagle, Labour.

MuddledMuse Thu 09-Jun-16 21:09:35

Also, just want to say that clearly they know what the questions are and some of the, probably all of them, have prepared answers. They are, in many instances, reading their answers, with a hell of a lot of posturing. I don't find it very convincing and would prefer for them to have to think on their feet.

claig Thu 09-Jun-16 21:11:56

'did someone say that Thatcher's rebate comes to an end at the end of this decade? '

It is up for renegotiation, not sure when, and there is no guarantee we will be allowed to keep it and if you go by the wallies who negotiate on our behalf e.g. Cameron and the team, it is likely that Estonia, Latvia etc will out negotiate us with one hand tied behind their backs.
