Freezing here. One light on (DD eating) and central heating off so have retired to bed. Yes, poor Earth, but turning off a few lights won't help. Sorry, am grouchy (see unloveable teenager thread)

We will be turning off all the lights here tonight, we do it every year. We will either play board games or read stories by torch. [In Canada, doesn't start for another 3.5 hours here]

By 9pm We were all in bed, lights off, tv off at the wall, router off at the wall.
The fridge and freezer were running, the clocks on the cooker and bedside table were running, but that was it.
No heating on (NW England).
Unfortunately for Earth Hour, I'd forgotten it was on, we do that stuff anyway.
