A relative who is 70 has asked me and another of her friends who is 40 something like me if we could both have POA over her finances if ever that time comes. She asked us both over today - neither knew the other was going - and asked if we could have joint POA. We said yes on the spot. However during our time there i found this friend to be a polar opposite of me... very domineering bossy overpowering etc. I dont know this woman at all and I worry about having to work together as I feel she could be rash and unreasonable. I dont particularly want to do this on my own let alone with another. I want to know if anyone has experience of being a co POA? Did it go smoothly? Etc. Thanks.

I would just raise your concerns sensitively with your friend. She is with it now so best time.
She will probably have information and reasons which will help.
