Hi,
My employer has given me the letter confirming my materninty leave and entitlemnets and requested me to look at it and confirm if it is ok before they sign it.

It contains the follwoing info:
-My elegibility to 52 weeks
-the amounts paid for that period
-notices required if I change dates, come back to work early or quit work.

  • A statment that they care about my health and safety as a pregnant woman.

-If I have any questions in regards to this letter to ask etc.

Are these all the info which is required to be in this letter?

Do I have the right to my pension which is being paid by my employer during my 52 weeks?

I get paid my travel card for travellign to work, will I still be entitled to that?

My materninty starts 7/1/2010. The 4 weeks holiday I acure during that year can I add to the 7/1/2011 and extend by one month paid?

Thanks a lot for your help. I do appreicate. thank you.

This sounds about right - and yes, you can add your accrued holiday onto the end of it. You must take any holiday from this year (09) before your Maternity leave, or you will lose it.
