Sick note question

Hi,

Wonder if someone knows the answer to this.

I'm currently on sick leave and have been signed off until the end of next week which will have been my third week off. Thing is I am starting to feel better, and think I might be okay by the middle of next week.

Can I go back to work even though I'm covered by a sick note or do I need anything from the GP to say I'm okay to return?
