A friend is hopefull of changing employers in the next few months, however they are also ttc if she does become prg and has a new job opportunity when would she have to tell new employer and would she have to say at interview stage or when / if she is offered the job

Have a look here for basic information on telling employers/maternity leave etc gothicmama. Your friend doesn't have to tell any employer she is pregnant until 15 weeks before her due date, although most people mention it earlier than that. There's certainly no obligation to tell a potential employer at an interview or anything like that.

Neither. She isn't obliged to tell her employer until she's 25 weeks pregnant - info here.

I was in a different situation in that I interviewed at 28 weeks pregnant, so I think they had a shrewd idea that I would be taking time off shortly (only the NHS would have employed me at that stage, I'm convinced of it).

I would not worry unduly about changing employers if I were your friend, except for the fact that if she is pregnant before she starts the new job she won't be entitled to maternity pay.

I would second the point about the maternity pay. A lot of companies you need to be there about a year before you get the enhanced maternity pay. Some more. I would recommend that she checks the maternity pay at the place she's currently at, and makes sure she sees the maternity policy at the place she's going to (I would personally ask to see all policies - sickness, maternity, all that type of stuff at the stage she's offered the job. That way no one thing stands out and you just look like someone who does full research) before she changes.
