Crap assistant line manager

Snide, snotty, whinging irritant with an overstuffed sense of her own importance. Stays busy all day, and resents my more relaxed attitude. I have this attitude beacuse I don't make work for myself, unlike her.

Appears to be on a mission to comment on the stupidity of every other person on the planet. Overestimates her own intelligence. Causes me to be pitied by every other person (managers included) in my workplace. Consistently denigrates my work. Godawful moaning bint who'll be up sh*t creek when I leave, because she hasn't got the skills to cover for me, or even find a replacement.

Anyone got any tips on dealing with the above? (Apart from leaving; I'm working on that).

Suggest suitable promotions - this type of person normally does really well!!!!!!

I would, but there's no-where for her (or me for that matter) to go within the company...

...one more reason to leave...
