Depends where you are in Wales, tbh.

Uni's here sucha s cardiff offer the early eyars segree which is good for pre-school kids, and several offer the B-Ed although its not as easy to get a palce as it was for primary as the Uni's are cutting abck on palces (at least mine in Newport is). there is a uni (trinity) in Carmarthen might be worth looking at?

As for jobs... Dh still goes over the bridge, as Welsh wages re definitely below English standards. However that woudl be impractical in West Wales / pembrokeshire, OTOH you could have a look at employment within the Uni sector, or indeed at a school (IT PGCE perhaps?). There are jobs out there, bt obv. most will be in Cardiff etc.

We're not in west wales obv, but glad we moved here nonetheless (a place called caerleon, little Roman place).

We ahd a visiting lecturer from trinity today and she says its not that bad to commute to Swansea or even caerleon (UWN) for part time courses so sould well be an option.

It is a lovelya rea, I imagine you'd be happy there
