I've held f/t lecturing posts in 2003-04 and 05-06, but only had some p/t TA work in 06-07, not in my usual dept.
I've been offered the same TA work for autumn 07-08 and keen to take it as I liked the work and adored my colleagues.
Now old dept has offered me chance to teach one of my modules. Feel like I should take it, if they can run it in spring semester (lo will be 8 months) - it's experience and a wee bit of money after all.
But! It was a stressful module, very stressful colleauges (one a real bully), and tbh I think I'd rather stay home and do some writing - unless anyone thinks that having something on my CV is better than crossing fingers for publication??
