Political views at work and how to handle

Someone I work with recently said something that implied she thought that anyone who voted Brexit was unable to read or words to that effect. This makes me really uncomfortable especially as she's responsible for a big team. Not sure what to do here - eg tell her she shouldn't say this type of thing, raise with HR or what? We typically work in a v tolerant environment and it's not usual to say things like this.
