I think if you have been up-front in your application, and they have still offered you an interview, the organisation is obviously very interested in your skills. So,get your lippy on, sell yourself, and don't apologise for wanting to work pt - good luck!

Hi girls,

nice to have some messages waiting - sorry i didnt get back on before now.
interview went well, BUT they say the job is full time and no other option available. The need of the job requires it and also extra hours with little notice etc.
DH said he doesnt want me to do FT at any cost and in my heart i dont really. Oh well, back to the drawing board. wish me luck for finding something else.

I expect something will turn up as they say when one door shuts another one opens! You never know they may keep you on file and contact you at a later date- that happened to me , I had applied for a job didnt even get an interview was mortified as had similar ex etc. to cut a long story short they rang me up 3 months later offering me a job without an interview- it was tough because I had got over disappointment and someone else had offered me a job the day before. I had a tough decision but Im glad I took the earlier job decision. Keep smiling things will work out eventually

thanks PinkB, will keep searching! funnily enough, before i got my current position, i had another interview; which i didnt get. A few months later the 1st co. rang and offered me the job but i declined that as i was settled at the time. You have got me thinking - i might ring them and see if they are recruiting again.
take care

itsme, sorry I've not been on all week. Sorry to hear you didn't get that one, but you still seem to be very positive, so good luck.
