Weighing up two jobs...

OK, haven't actually got two job offers! But I'm just trying to weigh up my current job versus the job I've seen and whether its worth staying put for now or going for this other job (or one like it).

I've been at my current place of work for 2.5 years, but only in my current role for 6 months.

Current role:
- Professional advisory role
- I enjoy it and am pretty good at it, although it can be slightly repetitive - definitely 'in my comfort zone' rather than a challenge
- 30 hours a week, Mon-Fri, term time only
- Commute is 15 min drive and can park easily, but this is due to change from September, and will be 35 mins on public transport each way.
- Salary is £30k

Other role:
- Managerial (middle management)
- well within my experience/skillset - my previous role was middle management in the same area in a similar organisation - but would be more responsibility/stress than my current role I think....but possibly more scope for promotion, too.
- 36 hours a week, Mon-Fri, term time only
- Commute is a 5 min drive with parking, or could walk it in 15 mins. Its also a 10 min walk from DC's school.
- Salary is £33k, so not massively more

I suppose I just wonder whether its better the devil you know (happy and relaxed in current role), or whether I should push myself for a slightly better role, and if so, this one would be ideal as so local...

Not 'bugging myself up', but I am pretty sure I would at least get an interview for this other role, too. But don't want to go through the rigramarole of applications etc if I dont really want it...
