School administrator interview questions?

LemonBreeland · 12/02/2016 20:35

I have an interview in a couple of weeks for a school administrator position in a primary school, in Scotland if that makes a difference. Can anyone tell me what kind of questions I might be asked. I am mostly concerned about questions on safeguarding etc. The admin side I know I can answer.

I used to be in a non-teaching role in a school and did get asked safeguarding question at interview. Pretty much whatever they ask on that topic the answer is probably that you cannot promise to keep the secret / guarantee confidentiality, and that you'd refer all concerns to the designated child protection officer following the school's policy.

They will give you training on safeguarding, but most of it is common sense really.

Good luck :)

Prevent duty is a biggy at the moment. Have a look at this link, if it won't open up google channel training.
