I cannot believe that I will become unemployed tomorrow,

I decided to hand in my notes before getting another job. I only started in May, but soon I found this job wasn't what I accepted. I applied for one job and ended up with another. Before this job I was working for the same company for 11 years. Being bullied out by the new manager. I have a long list of qualifications and just starting uni again but I lost so much confidence I am considering some unskilled jobs. There are so few jobs suitable for parents.

I sympathise, Beoley. I was bullied by a new line manager last year and nearly left my job. The only thing that kept me there was that I needed the money to pay my bills. Sad but true.

If a job is making you so stressed to the point of feeling ill every day, leaving is a reasonable option. Can you hold on for a bit longer until you get a new job?

Try to build up your confidence in other ways, like exercising and eating well. Be kind and patient with yourself at the moment.

I would set myself a goal of applying for at least two jobs a day to start with, and then build that up as you feel more confident. Going to interviews always helps, even if you don't get the jobs, as it's a way to learn about yourself. What you are doing well, what you need to improve.

All the best.

Thanks for the supporting words autumnleaves123. I already left my job as it was making me ill, I was struggling to sleep and I didn't feel like eating. I have applied for a few jobs and I am waiting to hear back from one either tomorrow or Monday.
I think having some rest and catching up with my house work is helping me to feel better.
Thank you
