Term Time Only Holiday Pay

I work in a school, 28 hours per week, term time only. Paid in 12 monthly installments.

Am I meant to accrue holiday entitlement throughout my working weeks which is then paid to me as a bit extra each month? I have a feeling I should be might be wrong.

Any info or advice appreciated. I've tried the HMRC site calculator but it only calculates on hours per week or irregular hours so it's not suitable.

I can't check my contract easily as it was issued with pages missing (Shock) but I accepted the job with verbal T&Cs, which I now can't remember.

You should get 28/37 (75.68%) of 39(?) /52 weeks (75%) so 56% of full time salary paid monthly. You will also get 56% of paid holidays and bank holidays so at 5 weeks leave and 8 bank hols that's a further 24 days.

Thank you. I'll do some sums and see if my pay is right.

If you are doing 28 hours x 37 (weeks) then you are doing 1036 hours a year so you should get 125 hours of holiday pay per year.
