Keeping in Touch days from home

Could anyone help ? I am going on maternity leave soon. I am keen to do KIT days but want to work them from home not go to the office. My current contract involves working from home 2 days a week the rest of the time in the office. Before I approach HR does anyone know of any rule or documentation about where KIT days can be worked or will I be expected to go to the office. Thanks in advance.

KIT days are entirely by agreement between employer and employee, ie either party can refuse if they are not happy with the terms.

If you and your manager both want you to work KIT days, are both happy with the proposed pay and are both happy with your request to work them from home, then that's fine. If you want to work them from home and your manager wants you to use them to come into the office (more akin with the whole idea of KIT days), you can either agree or refuse to work KIT days at all, entirely up to you.

Speak to your manager, say you'd like to work some KIT days but would prefer to work them from home, and see what he/she says.
