Ahhh right, so the 15 weeks would be like your qualifying weeks and you'd want to be earning as much as possible in those weeks?I've worked it out to TTC anytime after 20th August to give you an extra three weeks to play with for if you want to start your next mat leave at 37 weeks.
Thanks everyone.Yeah Fatima but I would get paid the same as I had been paid fifteen weeks before the baby is born. At the moment that would be smp, rather than my normal wage.
Your current maternity leave will count as employment so if you're employed with them now then regardless of when you go back you can get pregnant anytime.
You have to work for 15 weeks before EDD? And a pregnancy is 38 weeks from conception (40 from last period), so sure you could actually go back to work 38-15=23 weeks pregnant?If that's right then you just count back 23 weeks from 6th Jan which is the beginning of August and that's when you can start TTC.
As far as I understand it, time on maternity leave still counts as being in your employment so it shouldn't matter.

Thanks NappyHappy, I am a teacher and that is a great solution but it would not be applicable to me.
I was still on ML when ds3 was conceived and I when ds2's ML ended I was told to take some holidays and start ML again 15weeks before ds3 was due.
I am going back to work after materntiy leave on January 6th. I want to start trying for another baby towards the end of this year but if we time it too early we risk not getting full maternity pay.I have to work for 15 full weeks before the week the baby is expected to be born.So, start work again 6th January, plus 15 weeks is April. That means we can start ttc in August, doesn't it?Thanks!
