Is there a best recruitment site for HR people?

Sorry to ask such a dull question, but we need to recruit a specialist HR person and our usual places to advertise are so far not cutting the mustard. Is there a particular website the HR people here would suggest we try? One colleague suggested Reed - is that well respected? We're in East Anglia if that makes any difference.

(We are thinking about advertising on Mumsnet as the job's potentially school hours but the Jobs board doesn't seem very specialised - more sort of general roles.)

Reed is a very good agency. Where is the role based?

I may be interested in taking a look at the job description if it is near enough to home. I'm currently HR with school hours.

There is //www.reed.co.uk website which I'd recommend. Reed as a brand are also a recruitment agency. Their website gets a lot of traffic from other agencies who advertise HR vacancies so has become very popular with HR professionals.

You can also advertise on //www.peoplemanagement.co.uk in their jobs section. People Management magazine is the professional magazine produced by the CIPD and all CIPD members (most HR professionals) receive this magazine each month.

Thanks very much - we'll take a good look at both of those.

If you are recruiting for public sector there is jobsgopublic (making an assumption as you are asking for school hours). People management is good as well as personneltoday.

Thanks AngelEyes - we're not recruiting for the public sector, but I'll take a look at personneltoday.

my sister is in HR (might be in the look out for a role too!)...she's pretty high up in the field. most of her recent jobs are all through contacts via Linkedin. In the early days she used personneltoday.

Similar to Reed is CV-Library - we have used them before for specialist and non specialist roles.
