Elderly parents

Selfish siblings who never share the care

My mum has 2 bothers who all live close by their elderly mother of 91. She is fairly independent but very lonley since loosing her husband 18 months ago. My mum sees her mum nearly everyday, takes her shopping, hairdressers and lots of other appointments. I try to share as often as I can but my mum does most of it and has her mum to diner every Sunday. Her sons will go literally months without even a phone call. It makes me so cross. Has anyone else managed to come up with a way of sorting this out. They are both avid facebookers and wondered if I could put a poignant link on there. Any suggestions?

Sadly, I doubt there is nothing you can do if they just can't be bothered. I work in a hospital and hear this all the time. Don't go putting "poignant" things on FB, they're really cringey!
