Lucky you, I have two days of teaching left and an INSET day on the 23rd!

Am really glad that school is out. No school runs for a couple of weeks. Lazy days doing nothing at all. Fantastic. Good for the kids to rest as well. Only plans are family coming on Christmas day (bearing food) and going to friends on Boxing Day (bearing leftovers). Lots of parties and no more early mornings (the kids can see to the DTs)

Can't believe you have INSET on Wednesday hmb - that's not good!

We break up on Tuesday. I have booked the 23rd off work for the prison too, so holidays start at 3:15 on Tuesday for me

No more getting up while it's still pitch black, for a few weeks at least!

I love it when they finish school too: my two boys are always exhausted at the end of every term, and more than ready for a break I love the holidays!

We are off now until 6 Jan (Inset on 5th) - Wahey

Not only do we have an inset on the 23rd, we also have an inset on the 4th! Deep joy is mine, ho, ho, ho!

Two more (shcool)days before I stop dashing out in the morning with my clothes over my pyjamas, yippee!
Am a total slob.....in my defence I have a baby who has decided he's had enough sleep for this year and would like to feed constantly instead. [exhausted mummy emoticon]
Hey! Why the hell isn't there one of those? Oh, maybe there was, and it died of overuse.
oh dear, am rambling.

I have Y11 coursework to mark, and Y9 reports to write. And must do some planning for the prison too. I have the first Wednesday free as DD is at nursery so going to try and do as much of it as possible then.

Thankfully I have no marking over the holidays. But I will have a sixth form mock to mark the first week back. Sorry that you both have so much to do

Oh, I won't spend that long doing hmb. Determined about that. Reports are priority, then I'll do courseowrk. It doesn't have to be ready after Christmas as such, but as soon as possible would be best. I am marking in order of the kids I think will actually acto on me marking early, and how will use the info to go and improve it. Those I know won't bother to add more to their work I will mark last.
