I know that dd has been accepted (ds already attends and I'm on the board) and I've also received a school pack for dd - only received last week though.
Give teh school a phone - tehy should be able to tell you.

That does seem quite late- it's usually April here. I know all the high school letters came out ages ago- I agree, ring the school.

Ours had a special evening for all new P1 parents in about May followed by two induction sessions in June for the P1s, the second one being a party (for some reason) in the classroom.

I'm sure it will be OK, but you could ring them and see. Yes, there are usually visits- ours has one with parents and one with nuresry groups that parents can also bring children too. Usually mid-June I think.

Our inductions / open night are all June - so I don't think you'll have missed anything yet! Mind you, our uniform order had to be in last week (but we're a really small school so we only get once chance per year to order it)

Aimsmum, I am imagining you being shown into a room and introduced to 17 teachers... (sorry, I know it's not funny)

Do you get the uniform from the school or from a shop, do you know? Loads of children start here in non-uniform and then get the actual gear in the first week, no-one minds.

Ooh no but my best friend used it for her dd. She was really happy there and they were great with her- she was completely non-verbal until she was 3 but came on amazingly once she was there

15 teachers in less than 3 months?? Blimey, that's going it some. Your poor dd, she must be wondering if she's coming or going.

Naily, I'm sure it will be great, it always looks lovely and presumably they have access to the gardens which are really nice. Ds's nursery used to have little field trips there because it's so nice and enclosed.
