State School admissions Fulham

Newbie..moving from South Africa to Fulham in just over a week with my children aged 12&9, do state schools consider temporary address for admission, say if we book a hotel/bnb while we look for rental accommodation

No, they won't take a hotel or b&b. Assuming you are not forces, you need a provable "permanent" address - a rental agreement, or evidence of house purchase, recent utility bill, child benefit documents or inland revenue documents at this address.
