Are there any homeschooling groups around West Dulwich? I have just arrived in London after living in Singapore. I am trying to get my children in schools before the end of year but they are full. I would love them to meet children who are being homeschooled. They need friends.

Why don't you ask this to be moved to the HomeEd section and you might find you get more response.

I believe there is a South London homeschooling meet up at Streatham Ice Rink on a Friday morning.
Try posting on the East Dulwich Forum as well as that gets more traffic than the West Dulwich one.

Good evening all My son, 12 , has been homeschoold for the last year and whilst it isgoing well I am concerned about the lacking in contact with other children and social interations. Does anyone know of groups that meet during the week in the Dulwich area (or surrounds) that we could join. It would be great for him to meet children (and me to get out and meet adults) but also arrange excursions together and maybe even teach them to cook..looking forward to hearing from anyone that can help.

Hello. I just saw this tread posted a year ago but thought I would reply anyway. I have a Son who is also 12 going on 13 who is homeschooled and doing well but like you, it concerns me the lack of interactions with other children his age.
He does attend a karate club but as friends go, its difficult to maintain anything outside of that.
Is anyone else in the same boat and want to change this?
