Hi OP, I'd be interested in this. It's quite a small school so there may not be many people here with sons there.

It's a great school with a new Headmaster coming from Westminster Under. He was the French teacher and organised the chess teams there. I'd say it is academic from years 3 onward but not quite so in the early years. Parents are nice and active.

Hi, am new to this! I've just stumbled across this thread on Hereward House and wondered whether any lovely parents can share with me their experiences, thoughts or feedback regarding the school? We are considering HH for our son, Year 1 in Sept 2016.

Hello would love to hear about Hereward House myself. Our son too will be joining in year 1, September 2016

I have 2 sons at Hereward House and could not be happier (I also have a daughter in another school). Hereward House has the perfect mix of excellent academics without hot housing or being overly pressurised like some schools in the area. It is a very friendly school where the older boys look out for the younger ones, the teachers are always available, great music, chess and excellent exit results (note that there are 18 boys per year so you need to consider relative numbers). My eldest son is in Y7 now at the school and did extremely well at 11+ without any drama. Fab school.
