My mate was a teacher there. It wasn't great about 10-12 years ago then it improved steadily. It ended up very oversubscribed I believe. Had a great HT. Any specific query?

Hello and thanks. I'm basically just wanting to know if there are any problems and also if the kids are pushed enough. At our local high school I know there are problems with bullying, troublesome kids who have no intentions of learning and a few drug issues.

Sorry I can't really help - that type of thing had been stamped out but who knows if it could happen now ? Maybe try the local board for lancs? Asking local parents who go there is the best way

It is a really good school. Excellent teaching staff, small site, no problems with behaviour/discipline.

Sorry, was rushed this morning, it's a really good school. The staff there go out and train staff in other schools in the area who are requiring improvement/in special measures. I liked that it is only a small school, really nice family feel to the place, well behaved pupils. The Head that turned it around has retired but new Head is also great. I would have been very happy for my children to go there.

that you lizzylou. Ive looked around and the pupils were really well behaved and willing to learn but I just want to make sure. I also like it because its smaller than most schools
