is Finchley Catholic High any good?

agonising over where to consider for when my boys start secondary. The Oratory sounds great but seems super-ultra-Catholic, has no on-site playing fields, and I was not impressed by the Head's speech at open day. I have no experience of FCH at all but it's results look pretty good and improving. I just remember the boys being a bit naughty when I was a kid and it was not that great back then. My eldest boy is super bright, middle needs some extra help and youngest is bright too and we would like them all to attend the same place if possible. Pastoral care is very important to us and I just didn't not feel they'd get it at Oratory. Would welcome any feedback.

Parents I know that speak in similar tones to you abut Oratory preferred Cardinal Vaughan. Worth a look if it's not too late.

As always, it's best to talk to parents of boys actually at the schools rather than parents looking at schools.
