.....any teachers out there??? I have never seen a single post of support for him. It would be interesting to see if there are any and to hear some counter arguments.

Nope. Not this one. He is a dangerous lunatic.

he's destroying the future of students - not a good person at all

The man is hated and loathed by every teacher I know.

AHardDaysWrite · 19/10/2013 22:15

I loathe him, as does every other teacher I know even the very few who admit to voting Tory

Strong dislike for the dickhead here too.

I'm a teacher and I don't know of any teachers who like the man.

Teacher, married to a teacher, friends with many teachers. 100% loathing on my side.

DH knows one bloke who respects him. Said bloke just took a job at Eton. Nuff said.

Dangerous man - his half baked and mad ideas are destroying state education.

My mum thinks he's great. (She's not a teacher and reads the Daily Mail.)

Words cannot describe how much I despise him. He is ruining education and childhood. I say this as a parent and a teacher.

He namechecks teachers in his speeches sometimes. They're like his favourite courtiers in the Court of Gove. But they're all academy or free school heads who have benefited from rapid promotion, often in academy chains sponsored by Tory donors or from thinktanks. Never the heads of outstanding community schools.

Report
Purpleprickles · 19/10/2013 23:43

I think Straggle that's because in Goveland you can only be truly outstanding if you work in a free school or academy. The rest of us are chopped liver.

I'm not a teacher but I hate Gove with every fibre of my being.

As rare as hen's teeth and nurses who like cameron, I imagine

I know teachers who have worked with him as advisers, but he has ignored all of their advice. I do not know of a single teacher who respects him. How could they, when he treats them with such contempt?

Presumably Cameron doesn't give a shit. Him and all.his mates privately educate their children, and being a Tory he won't care about the rest of us Angry

I'm a teacher and I think he's a great man with sound, well thought out policies.

That's like asking 'Are any of you marshmallows who like toasting forks?' Or, 'Are you a honeypot who likes bears??' OR, 'Are you a snowball who likes deserts???' Or, 'Are you-?' etc etc.

I think you get my point :o
