Experience of Montessori education and nursery recommendations

Am researching nurseries for dd (currently 16m) and wondered what experiences people had of Montessori establishments? Am looking for a nursery in North London (we are moving to Whetstone) so any specific recommendations Montessori or otherwise greatly appreciated! Thanks

my sister is using a Montessori in North London (near Crouch End). Moved her child there (aged 3) because she thought the activities were better and dd was getting bored with her old nursery. DD is loving it. seems like a really nice place and the activities are thoughtfully put together.
