this is AS level - the exam was on Friday and I got all the papers on Saturday morning. It's fairly typical EdExcel behaviour IME - guess I'll have to phone them tomorrow

I am doing edexcel A level. The mark scheme and question papers are all downloadable from the web site but you do need a password to get in!

Try calling the help desk 0800 169 9202. They will verify who you are and give you a logon etc. You will need your examiner no.

thanks tigs - I read that bit too but haven't received a password yet either! The helpline is only open in the week isn't it? Can't really do anything about it now.
What subject are you?

Hi Tommy, I am doing Eng lit A level marking for EDEXCEL- the paper is on Tuesday week and the moderation day a week later. I haven't received anything yet but rang a few days ago because I want to traditionally mark as opposed to online mark. Last yar they were much better in sending info out well in advance. Have you done it before? it is a full on blitz but I quite like it!

have done it a few years before and did GCSE before that. I'm a SAHM now so I do this to earn a bit of money and keep my hand in just in case I ever want/needto go back to school!

Tigs - have just phoned a nice chap called Daniel on the helpine who has emailed me a password so I can get on with it - oh joy Smile

At least I get a day out in London on Wednesday!

Ditto! My meeting is this tuesday and I'm staying over night for shopping on Wednesday! Heaven Grin

It'll be my first night away from the ds and dd in more than 2 years! (I'll probably still wake up at the crack of dawn though!)

so much for that - logged in and site is telling me that there aren't any documents for my exam... duh - well have about 200 papers all ready to maek upstairs so I guess there must be a markscheme somewhere!
Phoned them again and will hear from them tomorrow apparently.
Thanks for that though Tigs - wouldn't have thought to ring them tonight at all!
Have fun shopping - I would have liked to stay after the meeting to do some (we normally finish pretty early) but we have the "new parents" evening for DS1 who starts in reception in September at 7pm, so will have to dash home Sad

We've got our new parents evening then too but there is no way I can get back for it even if I rush. I decided to really go for it and have booked a show for the evening too. Am hoping to get to the summer exhibition at the RA Wed am as well. I'll be totally knackered (and skint!) by the time I get home Smile

Hi rarrie Smile
How lovely to meet another one! I'm 6774 - New Testament - Luke, John and Acts (a bit specialist, me!)
I'm a bit miffed about my stuff not coming as I haven't really got any time before the meeting to sort it out now. Fortunatly my Chief Examiner is very understanding Grin
