Would you like to reminisce with me about school assemblies?
DH and I were talking about the 'Come and Praise' book, and singing remembering the songs.
Does anyone else remember songs such as Autumn Days and Cross over the road my friend? Which others were there?
its so low down you cant get underit its so far up ypu cantget over it, i loved it when you were on duty to move the ohp sheet to the words on the wall. And the lord of the dance said he and we all sniggered when he streaked in the song.

Anyone remember when they tried to be cool and trendy with Come and Praise 2?
And wasn't there one involving a giant and a wall or did I make that up?

I loved all the Christmas ones, belting out Oh come all ye faithful, god rest ye merry gentlemen, etc.
I go to the christmas church concerts just to have a time where i can howl them at the top of my voice!
Oh we didn't have a blackboard or a projector, just hand written lyrics on pieces of paper stuck together with Sellotape and held up with blu tac
Oh these have been popping into my head recently.. When I Needed A Neighbour, Love Is Like A Magic Penny, If I Had A Hammer.. All charmingly bonkers
