I couldn't search for anything at all a couple of hours ago. When the search did come up (one for "Faith Boots" there were no results - yeah right not a single pair of Faith Boots listed on ebay right now grin

Search function is not working for me.

I hope this is sorted out soon. I've got a maclaren footmuff on ending tomorrow. I've been keeping on eye on them for last few weeks and they seem to make about £20 with all bids in last few hours. Mine is 99p at the moment. Typical, I'll be gutted if it goes for that!

DH is selling a guitar on ebay (ends tomorrow) and the auction has totally disappeared!

Lilyloo Sat 21-Nov-09 22:49:43

I am selling a phone , ends tom eve, talk of adding time to listings so may end Monday early morn hmm

feedthegoat Sat 21-Nov-09 22:54:47

That's also abit gutting though Lilyloo because we always try to time auctions deliberately to end at that prime time between 8 pm and 10 pm on a weekend. I honestly think it does make a difference sometimes if people are actually online at the time.

Lilyloo Sat 21-Nov-09 23:08:36

tempted to end it and start again , along with hundreds of other ebayers who have realised what's happening.

citybranch Sat 21-Nov-09 23:09:02

it seems as though there are only buy it nows.
where did you find out it has crashed Lilyloo? I can't seem to find any info online.

feedthegoat Sat 21-Nov-09 23:11:14

Can you end an auction if you have already had a bid?

nannynick Sat 21-Nov-09 23:14:33

AuctionBytes Blog is reporting Search outage affecting UK and US. Will Ebay consider this a Major Outage and auto-extend auctions? Will Ebay ever recover... they will be experiencing a loss in revenue, a loss in sellers wanting to list items, plus a loss in ad-impressions/click.
