eBay

Aarrgh - eBay won't let me list and gives me an 'Attention Seller' notification

I have recently started selling with some success and am keen to list quite a few more items.
I have recently sold a Beaba babycook, a nebuliser and some perfume. I had to revise my perfume listing once I had listed it but before the sale started then wanted to revise it again but got an Attention Seller Notification so I left it as it was. I assumed there was a limit to the number of times you can revise a listing. It just sold.
Now I am keen to list some other perfumes - 3 unwanted gifts and 2 hardly used. I got the same notification. I have checked the seller rules and 'used' perfume is allowed. Why will eBay not let me list the first perfume I have tried to list having already sold one.
I have emailed them but they have taken AGES to get back to me in the past.
I am going to try and list a book now (and annoyingly lose my perfume listing I have just spent 10 minutes on) to see if that is accepted but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas ????

Have you verified your Paypal account?
I had to do that recently in order to sell.
There are instructions on Paypal if you need them. Takes a few days.

Yep - did that.
I just listed a record with no issues then went back to try the perfume again and got the same message so it is def to do with the perfume. Perhaps they limit you to one a month as perfume is potentially a big counterfeit item

ebay are strict when it comes to 'designer' items, though not sure what their rules are

I posted on ebay forum and a coupe of other ebayers say that you can only list one designer brand name every 30 days!!!
One lady was having the same issues and she has done over 1000 transactions. I am quite shocked at this - just want to shift my stuff
