Has anyone escalated a claim, what was the outcome?

I have just escalated a claim after waiting on 3 separate occasions for an item to be delivered following a range of excuses and now just want a refund. The seller had 100% feedback on over 1000 transactions so I was taken rather unawares by it all. I hate Ebay when it all goes wrong. Anyone had a positive outcome?

Yep me - was paid a refund in four days. If they don't respond it's much quicker than if they do but it can take up to 28 days if they shilly shally and make excuses.

i have escalated a claim and both times paypal have agreed with me, but i have not received a refund cause they can only do it if the person you have the claim against has money in their paypal account.

i once bought a few irems of clothing off the sale boards on here and along with a few other ladies didnt receive anything so escalated the claim.

its all very well and good paypal siding with me, but what use is it if i didnt get my money back?

hope you get your resolved

Yes many times, check your listing, if there's a buyer protection shield on the top right box thingy, you ought to be Ok as theyll refund you and then chase the seller to pay them abck.

No buyer protection and you might not get the dosh iyswim.

HTH. Usually paypal do side with the buyer I have to say. Sellers hate them.
