eBay

Haven't heard from seller nearly two days after winning an item to be collected. What to do?

I won the item Tuesday lunchtime. Its a piece of furniture. I have emailed twice via the messaging system on the sales page where you ask questions about the item - is that ok? - I obviously don't have her email address. Have put mobile numbers for both me and dh and said I'd like to arrange payment and collection. Still heard nothing.

When do I give up?

Can I leave negative feedback? I thought I heard that buyers can't leave neg feedback for sellers any more. Is that right?

TIA

well, I would give her a few more days to answer.
not everyone gets online every day and it's barely 48 hours since you won.

I'd give until Monday perhaps

You definitely need to wait a bit longer. He could be ill, his internet could be down, or he simnply may have not been online, it's certinally too early to be talking negative FB!

You could request his contact details from ebay, this will give you his phone number so you can call.

Thanks. I will wait, but its unusual, no? I bid £220. I would be mad keen to get hold of that kind of cash asap.

And of course I wouldn't dream of leaving negative feedback yet.

Was just wondering if there is a recognised time limit before you start to get worried.

And I am genuinely unsure re. being able to leave neg feedback for sellers. Am sure I saw a lot in the press about this a few months ago???
