It cost £65 new,and still has the original tags on it. What is a realistic starting price?

Can't you return it to the store? M&S has a three month refund period. Which shop was it from?

You don't neccessarily need the receipt to exchange or refund. A bank statement or other proof of purchase is often acceptable.

No, it was from Long Tall Sally, and I have spoken to them and they said it's 14 days I ahve to return things, and because it's not faulty, and fits ok they aren't obliged to refund me. Which is fair enough

Erm would think £40 ono. If you're doing an auction maybe start at £20?

It's because of him I can't wear it. Feckers at MOD thought it would be great to send him off for 4 months with only 12 days notice! so we miss the wedding

Would they let you return it and exchange for some everyday clothes? At least you would get the full value of the item then??

i've bought a few bnwt LTS dresses on ebay before now and tend to get them just under half the tag price, all on bidding.
