Just wondering if I can describe a 15 yr old coat as 'vintage.'

15 years' old would make it circa 1993. I think I would expect 'vintage' to be older than that. Is it 'vintage-look' ie in the style of something from an older recognisable age. Is it a collector's item in any sense.

If you want to use the term, I would put details in the description as to what you mean to justify the term 'vintage'.

Vintage: Characterized by excellence, maturity, and enduring appeal; classic,
a period of origin or manufacture.

Usually, if an item is no longer produced or popular, it can be considered vintage. List the decade in the title, though. I wouldn't say 15 years can't be vintage. Depends on the item.

ANTIQUE: a work of art, piece of furniture, or decorative object made at an earlier period and according to various customs laws at least 100 years ago.
