Yes. Once you have it back by TRACKABLE means They wont win a paypal dispute without a tracking number

southeast how did you get on with other buyer/dispute ?

Have had nightmare this last couple of weeks a neg because i didn't seem a pleasant ebayer and paypal have my money due to buyer opening dispute 2 weeks later hasn't sent it back i am without item and money

they negged you for being unpleasant?! that's mad. paypal are holding this money too as the buyer has opened a dispute (wrong size listed, our fault) but he just opened the dispute without contacting us first then wants us to refund before he sends it.

paypal refunded the other buyer (suprise) and we've heard no more. no feedback left from him. but i'm keeping my eye on his listings don't trust him.

it's all for buyers now isn't it.

was it much money? (not that that's relevant) we could lose another £35 odd here.

£30 same here didn't contact me either. Have offered refund on return which they agreed to but no sign of items as yet. Do they get money anyway without sending them back or is this the rare occasion the seller is protected ?

if it is a paypal dispute, they HAVE to send it back TRACKED to win the dispute

Item sold on 13 Nov he waited 7 days to open dispute 20 Nov haven't heard from them since!
Wish they would just contact you first save all this messing around and paypal witholding your money.

what a pain. if buyers have problems they just seem to go straight to paypal now. we're bracing for another neg but to be honest caring less and less now.

agree, the person who didn't think i seemed pleasant was my first neg now just think fb becoming a waste of time and as a buyer wouldn't give it that much notice anymore which is a shame as i have bought off there for a couple of years and it used to be a useful tool!

dp sells quite alot of there, it would take alot for him to give it up.

just reading some of the boards, they keep changing things, always in the buyer's favour

he's escalated the claim again. we've offered to refund if he sends it back, but he wants the money first.

but he has to return it for a refund doesn't he what's the point of escalating it ?

Still no sign of my item being returned either.

i don't know, he's mad.

does he think we're just going to refund an international buyer with lowish feedback and trust that we'll get the item back

does your dispute have an end date?

he has until 10/12 to escalate have sent him another message tonight. If he decides to escalate it does that give him more time ?

Paypal will only tell him to return your item what's the point ???

Surely they can't make you refund first.
No shop would offer refund without return of goods same as ?

paypal have said that they will refund him once he can prove that he posted the item back, so sounds quite hopeful. they give him 10 days.
