Someone has offered me an amount to end the auction early and sell to them through e-bay at the price. My item has bids on it, can I do this?

Not really, as it already has bids on it.

You could however cancel the current bids and then add a buy it now price, but tbh this wouldnt really be right way to do things.

as twocute said, you could cancel bids and add buy it now, or cancel the listing and relist with buy it now.

get them to bid up to the agreed price then you can end the listing early with the reason of 'decided to sell to the current highest bidder' that way it all still goes through ebay.

Thanks - so I could cancel the bids - I feel bad for the bidders, but they have offered me a good price, and could do with the cash!!!

This has never happened to me before, and they have good feedback, but its so imoral......

have you checked completed listing? to see if the price is as good as you think?, it may well be that the item is fetching that sort of price anyway.

i wouldn't ever do it on an item with bids from others. But that's just me. People do this all the time.

I wouldn't do it either esp if you already have interest usually bin want something cheaper than it will go for in auction.

I wouldn't do it, they only want it because they are afraid of losing it at the end-they also want it cheap!

I did some rather unethical regarding bin. I had agreed a price with the seller, but by the time she went back to change it to bin someone else had bid. She confirmed by email the agreed price and I bid an exceptionally high amount to ensure I was the winner. It did work and I paid the price I agreed with the seller not the winning price.

I did check and the price was higher than I would have expected it to go for. It was for some clarks shoes and she wanted them ASAP as her son has grown out of his.

I canceled the listing and relisted it as BIN and she has paid already. I know its not right but hey its Christmas!!!

Thanks for all your advice, it did make me double check I was doing the right thing!
