eBay

buyers with no feedback

I had a bad experience with a buyer bidding on my stuff seeminly just for the sake of it and then not paying. Meaning I had to wait 2 weeks before relisting it and losing the 'real' buyers that actually wanted it. This person had NO feedback.

Anyway I'm selling something else and a few people bid on it and then a person with 0 feedback again seems to be pushing the price up everytime anyone bids on it. They could be genuinly bidding for it but I'm concerned with the no feedback thing, especially as she's bid on two of my items.

Am I being paranoid? are some 0-feedback buyers ok? I know we all started off with 0 feedback at one point or other...

Should I remove her bids or would this be unfair?

Just looked at her bidding activity and she's made 107 bids in the last 30 days so she's made all these bids, seemingly not won anything since there is no feedback...I really hope this isn't someone just pissing about again, I'm sick of this.

I used to (when I could still be arsed with eBay) put a note for bidders with zero feedback to contact me before bidding, or I would cancel their bids.

With the no-negative-feedback thing, some people are buying rival items with no intention to pay just to get them off the market. Does this person have anything listed for sale?

I buy things on ebay and hardly any of the sellers leave feedback for me, do as ninedragons said and put a note on next time.

YOu can set your preferences so that feedback scores below 5 cant bid on your items

Can I ask how do you set the under 5 feedback score up? Can see how to block a bidder by name but cant find this option.

we have a criteria that buyers with no feedback should email us to confirm they will pay or their bd ma be cancelled

we all start somewhere but it gives us a bit of security as it shows A) they can be arsed; B) they read the advert; C) they actually have regulat access to a pc
