Having problems contacting ebay

I posted a thread about this last week, but basically, I cannot sign into ebay. I have the correct user id, I think I have the correct password but just in case followed the for forgotten password. But I haven't received any emails from ebay.

I have contacted ebay as someone on the other thread said maybe my accounts' been hacked to sell fradulantly. But i have heard nothing from ebay. And I have tried the same process approx. 4 times now. All I have had from them is an email wanting feeback on their customer support!!!!!!!!

It's as if my email address has been changed, but I have definately not done that. So now I cannot change my password or get them to contact me. It's driving me mad! In my last email I stressed the need for telephone contact. I have given them 48 hours now since the last email to them, which I think is quite long enough.

So what would you do ? I don't have anything for sale or anything so not an urgent problem and I don't use ebay that often. But I do buy things here and there. I could set up another account, but as another mners said if there is fraudulant activity on my old user ID it'll look like it's me at fault.

Please help, not sure how to progress this.

TIA

I've been trying to find a number, without success! thanks.

i've just dialled it and it says its an invitation only number for selected frequent customers. So I hung up!!!! should I just continue and see what they say?

I would! For selected frequent customers .

Have you got someone who has an ebay account themselves and can have a look and see what has been bought on your account recently?

You could go onto Ebay.com and use the live help thing to "talk" to somebody about it.
